200x2 rms???? 50x 4 RMS??? Remember thats RMS not max, and also remember, Alpine is always underrated power levels. I was running an mtx amp at 35x4 into two subs and that hit harder than rockford fosgates, other random brands at supposedly 1000watts max. This alpine hits much harder and cleaner than my mtx did, to give you an idea.

The new Kicker L7 Solo-Baric 10's are 600 RMS, and that's probably what I'm going to put in my MCSS this summer. I had that older L7 in my blazer and I think even as old as it was RMS was 450 or something. I'm going with memphis in the car, kicker in the trunk..should be pretty awesome...even though I'm kind of out of the whole car stereo fad. It's not that expensive when you build/wire everything yourself.

alright....lol I love a good stereo and the alpine was more than enough I needed along with the 4-channel on the speakers. Personal preference I guess, I dont like too much bass. The MTX was already rattling around in the back of my throat.

haha..I love a good stereo too. I probably wont run those kickers at full power, i'll probably buy a 4 channel and run the rear 6x9's off it too to keep some drain on it because who really needs 600RMS watts in a non competition car? Nobody..but it's nice to know you could.
