I think they should've continued to refine and develop the HSC concept. The ASCC will probably be dead in the water if they go through with producing it.

HSC:

As the car that replaces the NSX the ASCC has a lot riding on it, and it just doesn't have the impact and panache that it needs to have to fill the NSX's shoes. I wanted to like this car but I can't bring myself to be even mildly excited about it. This car was designed by their LA studio and they failed miserably.

Well since the ASCC was somewhat of the bust, how 'bout the rest of the show?

I was somewhat interested in the Lexus IS-F (F is supposed to be for Fast) but it has come out a bit Fugly (whats with the vent behind the front quarter panel) and in true Lexus fashion, comes equipped with a slushbox. What a wasted opportunity. I guess they're trying to be the Mercedes Benz of Japan.

New Jaguar XF? I've gotta say I like this one. It looks much more sharp and aggressive than like, every Jaguar since the XJ220. It will supposedly replace the S-Type as their number 1 sedan and it looks like a huge improvement.

Man, I don't know what's up with Ford on these:

The first looks like something from The Jetsons, the second looks like a 1970's Crown Vic.

Innovation breeds ideas, but I think they need to tighten the reins a little, or at least get their compass pointed north...

The ISF is poop. The jag is sweet as hell. I really like the tailpipes but the backend looks to Aston Martiny.

Seems like there's one or two of something that looks pretty much like that at every auto show. STOP. Please fire that design team. I'm surprised it doesn't have a cartoon size rocket engine sticking out of it.

You're right Pete. The Ford Edge is already out, so there is no turning back now.
