Going over the S50, and I want to get the injectors rebuilt/cleaned/whatever you want to call it. Is there a local place around NoVA (or generic place I could look for) that can do this? Or am I better off sending them out (if so, any recommendations)?

Ask John about this. He sent his Z32 injectors somewhere, and, if I recall, had a good experience.

I sent mine to witch hunter performance (google it). Cheapest I could find, incredibly fast turnaround, and a nice printout with graphs and numbers to show before and after flow.
Lee sent his there too per my recomendation and was happy.

Actually, I don't even remember where I sent them, and it was a horrible experience. Over the phone they said "Sure, send 'em", then I got them back like 10 days later with a note saying they didn't actually have the right machine and weren't able to do anything... As I recall, that was why I drove the WRX at CMP a couple of years ago - the Z didn't have any injectors.
I'd go with the place Evan recommends.

Can't help you with local, I called a lot of places when I was in Atlanta and wasn't able to find anything there. I used the small time cruzinperformance.com. Which I was going to recommend ....but as I see the page right now, his friend died and he's not taking any orders right now. So there you go!

Inline Proformance in Springfield do it but from what I recall, they were a little bit more expensive than Witch Hunter.

Hmm...WitchHunter's site is impressive, but shipping them way out to Washington and back may take awhile (probably only a week or so total though). I'll call InlinePro tomorrow and see what they have to say. Honestly, they do so much other 'big' stuff that I'd probably rather send them to WitchHunter.

i'm pretty sure Lee had his injectors rebuilt and mapped on his last WRX, but i'm not sure. Maybe he can provide some insight.

So the re-man and matched injectors that I did end up with came from RC. I actually bought them through a Z shop that dealt with RC directly. One of mine was DOA. I promptly got a free replacement which worked fine.

+1 for Witchhunter. I had my STi pinks cleaned and blueprinted. The turnaround was very fast, the price was cheap at the time, and they even replaced the o-rings that were missing! They send you the flow charts of each injector when they're done with them to show you how closely they flow together. Give em a try =)
