First one worked for me, 2nd got the 404.
ooooooh! hock:
*LOOKS* great. I'll be VERY interested to see if the PS2 can really handle all that extra background stuff with more than one car on screen. And all those people on the sidelines of the rally course, complete with morons running from car's path. And the very detailed driver in the Cobra. Kinda neat.
But I don't really care. It looked good enough to me before. I hope they took a few of those spare cycles to improve the feel of the cars, model the suspension more completely, have better tire dynamics, all that jaz. From the vid, it looks like maybe they made some improvements. And it'd be nice if they took some time to improve AI and make some attempt to force some competition as you work through the game, making it easier to have a good race against the comp. Otherwise, it's the same game to me, and I already own it.

I said I'm blocked from it, not that you would be.

I agree. The new graphics look great but I don't really care at this point. The physics and AI have to improve enough to make me want to switch from F355. I don't particularly care that I get to race around 500 different versions of the same car that look different. I'd rather have 10 cars that use an excellent physics model. Quality over quantity. If I want to play an unrealistic racing game I'll play Mario Kart on my GBA.
On the car selection, its pretty cool to see the E30 M3 in there as well as the AC Schnitzer M3 GTR as well as a few other notables. I'm sure the selection won't dissapoint even if the physics do.

that was an E30M3 wasn't it! I kinda thought so, but the lighting on the car was so dark, I couldn't be sure. The fender flares (from what little I could see) made me think maybe it wasn't. Maybe it's a regular E30? yay! 8)
neither worked for me....tear
