had some trouble getting in to 6th when the car was cold yesterday... no issues today. still hrm.
noticed some holes wearing in my top (design flaw by honda). need to find some vinyl or canvas strips to cover those up... apparently honda doesn't do shit even though it's a flaw they realized and fixed in '03.

So after all this, do you still suggest buying a used s2000, I was looking around at them and I found what you are finding now wiht your car, the interiors dont hold up at all. Every s2000 over 30,000 miles, the carpet was severely worn down and it sounds bad, but damn those seats looked like shit after wear (I loved the interior of the s2000 when it was new).

i'd still definitely recommend one, but i'd go for an '03 so you don't have any top problems.

covered the top wear with some black duct tape... looks like it'll do the trick.

changed the diff fluid, topped off tranny fluid, and changed oil today. diff was pretty dirty... hopefully shifting is less notchy with the added fluid.
fwiw, redline 75w90 in diff, redline mt90 in tranny, m1 10w30 in motor.

fluids feel great and car sounds really smooth, which could be a placebo effect from driving the hatch for a week.
