Mladin writes every now and then for superbikeplanet.com and he just wrote an article about the recent pre-season test he completed at Philip Island Australia. This test was particularly interesting because on the same weekend the WSBK championship winning Alstare Suzuki team was testing, so of course everyone was waiting with baited breath to see who was faster.
Turns out Mladin set the fastest time of the test, but it should be noted that he is running Dunlops while the WSBK boys are running a spec Pirelli which is known to be significantly slower. Still, he had a bit to say about it:

I think Mat can be a real asshole (certainly didn't seem very friendly in person) but he def makes some good points from time to time.
