oh i'm giving myself a couple of months to find a bike. because i know i wont ride it too often if i get it "now"... maybe on nice days. plus i'd like to retake the riders course so i can get my insurance lower again...  the newer faster bikes cost even more money to insure but its been 4 years since i took the rider improvement class... and progressive said it would help lower my insurance...

Ok so i have in my basement... a 2005 GSXR 750. I have the keys, i have no title, i havent paid for it. It looks like the guy I want to buy it from is flaking. he wanted $6.5k for it... I gave him $500 down... told him to figure out the time table for getting the title, assuming he uses the $6k i am about to give him...
he called me last night and was talking about giving me my money back and just having me drop the bike back off. So i'm back looking for a bike it looks like... but i might bring the bike out tonight

Kaan - if height is an issue (as it is for me) and power isn't, I'd go with an 04+ R1.
It has a skinny seat, like the K6 Gixxers, and would be easier to flat-foot than anything aside from one of those new Gixxers.
