mp3 editting program

hey fools
does anyone know of some share/freeware that lets me edit mp3 files so i can clip off sections of audio?

If you need to do more extensive editing, the trial of Goldwave from <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.goldwave.com">http://www.goldwave.com</a><!-- m --> should suit your purposes, although the audio will have to be re-encoded, thus making quality suffer.

I use fruityloops too. But it is an older version....and I'm a thief.
On the other hand....I do it for myself so it's not like I'm turning some kind of profit or even sharging with the world. -T

he can get a demo AND others were mentioning commercial software as well so i figured he was maybe considering those.
