did you tighten down the bolts? Tongue

Yar. The bracket doesnt fit well w/ the subframe brace, but its flush against it where the bolt is - I'll cut off the offending portion next week sometime. Torque spec on those is only 13 ft-lbs on those - there's really not much load on them.

what does 32mm hollow equate to in solid? why hollow instead of solid?

Roughly the same as a 26mm solid bar.

The hollow bar setup (and the bar arms are aluminum) is a lot lighter and the bars are cheap - $80-$90.

Stick some split collars on the bar to keep it from walking left-to-right. I don't know how much angulation those bearings can take, but they're not really constrained like a factory endlink either. You might get some bearing bind goofiness if the bar walks over to one side and cants the endlinks all funny, which may be less funny if you discover that on track. I think Stock Car Products sells them, if not try the place you sourced the splined bar. I think Progress Suspension carries them too.

I've got those... had them sent 2-day to work, they were delivered friday, our receptionist was out and the guy that signed for them didnt think to actually tell me I had a package so I'm not exactly sure where they are.

:hammer:

Mike, another benefit to the hollow... Use a 1/8" drill bit and make lots of small holes to spell out "r0lled!!1"

Insert neon t00b into swaybar, style and profile on track while demoralizing the competition... in instructor group.

The car rotates nicely with this thing in Smile

I will have to see how it does on the big track @ summit, but on shenandoah i could use the thicker of the two bars.

Where did you get it? I seem to remember ASR offering a 32 hollow mm bar, although I had thought he said it was the equivalent of 27? Anyway, let us all know how it goes. Hell, a ITR oem bar for me is a huge stepup, let alone 32 lol.

Its the same parts as in the 'ASR' kit, but I had the brace, hardware and endlinks already - so I just bought the bar and the arms from a circle track shop, all off the shelf parts. Nice kit, but you can put it together cheaper yourself.

Yeah thats what Im doing with the ITR. Im gonna pickup the brace from them, but the bar and endlinks and such im saving about $50 on.

I bought some new mounting hardware for the bar - much, much better - less chance of the endlinks binding, I can use collars on either end of the bar to limit it's movement and its got a solid (bronze) bushing. Yes, I painted my shocks gold. bL1ng!!1!1!

Whats the length of the moment arms on that?

Also, the heim joints look like they are at a pretty good angle, I'd try to get them straight. I had to use some washers to shim mine:
