I NEED TO BORROW A JACK!
#1
Just came back from mcdonalds... upon VTECing to merge back into traffic, my cat disconnected from my exhaust (or so it appears... sounds like open header)

Anyways if someone could bring a back by Ashby, I'd appreciate it

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind if anything else falls apart in the future.

Cut my back on a broken beer bottle while working. Hardcore parking lot car repairs for life!

Here is a little tip for getting some room to work under your car without a jack. If your car is to low it wont work. All you have to do is drive up onto a curb with one side of your car (left or right, not front and back). I dont mean drive over a curb, but use something like a driveway to get up onto it. I do this whenever im to lazy to jack up my car and I dont need the wheels off. Also really only works getting one side into the air obviously. Probably doesnt help much if your in an apt without good access to a curb. I can just imagine someone driving up onto a random curb...

If I'm ever that lazy, I'll give it a try. I just borrowed someone's spare tire jack today, jacked it up front, banged the cat back into place and got outta there before the car smashed my brains in.

ha, sounds like a fun time. personally i hate working under cars, it freaks me out. someday when i'm un-poor i'm going to pull a Chad and buy a lift, and there will be much rejoicing.
