Hey guys, my name is Alex, and Im a freshmen here at JMU studying biology, pre-med. I heard about MM through a couple of my hall mates and attended the meeting tonight at ISAT. Anyway just wanted to introduce myself and my car, its a 2014 mustang GT. I don't have too much done to it other than exhaust and some small exterior modifications here and there. Hopefully I will be able to bring it up next year to attend more events! Here is a quick pic of the car.
Nice dude! If you know how to drive manual I highly suggest putting your name into the pot for driving Jake's ST at the autocross!

It don't matter broman! Car or no car just come to whatever is happening.. but bringing the car next year would be cool too

Gorgeous car! I looked into Mustangs when I bought the ST, but I went down the rabbit hole of "well if I'm getting one, I should really get the 5.0, and if I do that, it really should have a LSD rear end, and the Recaros, and I guess the better audio system, and..." and then it was $10k more than the ST and I nope'd out of there so hard.
But yeah, I want someone to co-drive the ST with me and hopefully you (and others) are interested in doing that. No roasting of my clutch pls.
Oh yeah, welcome to MM!

Welcome! Nice ride! I really like the current Mustang - they added the pizazz that was missing from the initial retro design.

They make a 5.0 without a LSD? That has to be miserable.
Looks like your car has the optional Brembos based on the wheels. Good choice

Thank you! I personally was looking at the ST and heard it was a fantastic little car to drive, surely has a better transmission than my MT82 thats made in china But I completely understand where your coming from, the performance options list can add up fast. By the way, when is this co-driver event? I might be interested. And don't worry, my cars has three pedals, so no clutch burning!

I believe all 5.0's come with an LSD. And yes, correct! It has the brembo/track package. Thank you!

All the five liter cars come with a LSD, but the Track Package equipped GT's come with the Torsen helical diff à la Boss 302. Kind of a modern day Detroit locker.
Welcome to MM, glad to see some new members still reppin' good old fashioned V8 powered, manually shifted, RWD American muscle.
Welcome! Sweet ride, the current gens are very choice cars.

It's fantastic, does everything very well, has little soul. But my old-as-hell M3 has soul in spades, so it's not all bad.
The autocross is October 20th, Garrett should be able to give you more details - we also have a thread in the Events forum so check that out.
