SLK 55 AMG Detail Write-up Premier Shine

Client this past week brought me his wife's 2005 SLK 55 AMG for a one-step correction along with a full basic interior/ exterior treatment with a Paint Sealant application to finish it off.
The client had seen my previous work on the brilliant black Audi S4 Avant I had recently done this week as well and has also scheduled his other Mercedes for the same treatment in the future.

Time to complete: 7 hours, 100-107 degree day :lol:

Exterior:
Zep Citrus 3:1, 5:1
Sonax Full Effect Wheel Cleaner
0000 steel wool on the tips, followed up with Eagle One Nevr Dull wadding
Uber spoke brush
Swissvax Pneu Brush
Various other brushes
303 Aerospace Protectant
Chemical Guys Citrus Wash
Uber Blue Clay
Chemical guys Luber

Interior:
ShopVac
Pre-spray with Folex
All interior carpets and mats extracted
Zep high traffic carpet cleaner
Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil Left on for a little over 4 hours
Lexol pH cleaner
Zep citrus 3:1 / Simple Green 3:1
Swissvax Pneu & Leather brush

Motor:
Zep Citrus 1:1
Various brushes
Dressed with 303 protectant
Jams as well as underside sealed with PW as well

Correction:
Flex DA
Menzerna 106fa via orange uber pad

LSP: Menzerna Power Lock

After fully claying the car the 2-bucket wash process was repeated, the car was dried and brought underneath the shade and put under my halogens for inspection.

Afters: (65- 85% achieved) Few random deep scratches remain of course







A nice 50/50 after the one-step pass:


The front bumper had recently been re-painted and the owner was dissapointed in how the shop finished down the front, Luckily I knew it would be an easy fix.
Sanding marks galore.....and of course one section was even burned through..........pat on the back to the guys in the body shop hauling the rotary around :vomit: The sections still burdened with sanding marks were so evident that even from ten feet away you could see the color difference.

Yes I am, the clients are always extremely happy and I've built some very good relationships from my work.
