Product Review- Aquartz Iron Cut
#1
Long story short, my brothers girlfriend has a white chrysler sebring. I had purchased Aquartz Iron Cut a few weeks back and had only used it on one clients car.....and forgot to take pics.
I caught my brother and her "trying" to wash her car tonight in the dark so, i helped out and gave them a few pointers on how to properly wash a car.
I noticed iron spots and deposits ALL OVER. Luckily I had my iron cut nearby in my detailing cabinet and took out the work lights and grabbed the Nikon and got to it.

Aquartz is a company out of korea that has recently FLOODED the detailing world with some amazing new products such as C-quartz and Iron Cut.
The chemical hits the iron when sprayed on and lifts the iron deposits out of the paint after first turning into a purple color.

For those of you with silver, white or other light colored paint jobs and normal washing or claying so far has failed to remove the deposits.....LOOK NO FURTHER

Befores:
Orange/ red "flecks" = iron deposits

Spray on....little is needed, any iron or metal deposit will automatically turn purple within the first few seconds

Rinse and then wipe down with your wash solution, rinse again

If any remain, you can re-apply iron cut and let sit for 5-10 once again. This product is pH balanced and VERY safe for use on glass and wheels. If you have heavy baked in break dust and contamination on your clear coated wheels, you can use iron cut too! I have applied Iron cut in conjunction with Sonax FE wheel cleaner and it worked pretty well!

May be a stupid question but what about the little rust spots that form on brake rotors near the hub not on the actual rotor surface.

To be honest I never thought about that before- at Mid Atlantic our guys would wire brush the rust off then spray a good coating of high temp paint over it on every break job, always looked good after wards.

I will see if I can test the iron cut on that spot by the hub soon!

Matt - I've just heard of people spraying them black.

Dan - looks good. I'm always amazed at what you can get off of/out of the paint with the right products.
