Fuck Erik Buell. I don't feel very sorry for that self-righteous prick. I can appreciate some of the innovations his bike featured but the way he was always crowing and talking nonsense about how his little company beat the giant Japanese factories was disgraceful. You are truly a wanker if you can sit there and brag about how your 1125 cc twin can beat 600 cc 4-cylinders with a straight face. That's like a washed up NFL player playing high school football and bragging about winning.
The irony of it all is that DMG (the people that run Grand Am and now run AMASBK) screwed over the 4 Japanese manufacturers in favor of Buell in the ridiculous belief that if Buell did well it would attract Harley riders. In effect they drove Honda out for a company that now doesn't exist. Who knows if Suzuki, Kawasaki, or Yamaha will race next year either. Kawasaki probably won't. I think Buell could've been a lot more successful if they had a good designer make the bikes attractive and if they put some quality performance engines in them. The Rotax engine was a good start, if they kept doing that and make bikes that didn't look like 2-wheeled phalluses they could've gone places. Oh well, at least now they can't screw up AMASBK anymore.

LOL my brother just bought one 6 months ago..Its new but I think last years model that never sold. He stole that shit too. I forget how much he got it for but I remember it was pretty decent.
