Is "ma" really easier to type than "my"?

Y is closer to M on the keyboard, but you'd type them both with the same hand, while A would be typed with your left and M with your right. Still, I doubt it's much more efficient, and you'd be far more efficient to leave off your capitalization and punctuation, if that's what you're going for.
