Project: Get My POS running again
#1
I'm trying to tear down the Buell. For the life of me I cannot break the bolts holding my rotor in place. Any thoughts? I've doused them WD-40 tonight to let it soak. I gave them a few solid taps with a hammer and put the torch to them but no give.

At this point I've warped a permanent curve into my allen wrench trying to undo this.

WD40 sucks.

You need the smoke wrench, or at least a heat gun. They're probably held in with loctite.

yea I don't have any of those. anyone want to volunteer?

I went at it again with a torch and a longer heater bar, no success. Guys at Bad Weather Bikers say it's not uncommon to have to weld bolts on top of these things to get them out.

I've got air, air tools, impact driver, and a 1000*F heat gun. Bring that shit over here. Get the loctite hot and it'll turn into grease. Unless its corroded metal holding it in, then you may be fucked.
