Some do, some don't. A lot of businesses will at least provide Blackberries because they sync up with a lot of business servers. I write my phone equipment and monthly bills off because I use it for business.

Just downloaded an app called PDANet that lets you wirelessly tether from your EVO for free. I ran a speed test with 4G on, alternating between 1-2 bars. Not bad!

Only real complaint about Sprint so far: I have gotten a third call from "Peter Hanson" who is obviously Pradeep at an Indian call center trying to upsell me on extra lines for my family, new phones, etc. I kind of melted down on the guy and told him to kindly F off and to make a note in my account that I don't need calls asking me how my service is...if I have a problem they will be damn sure to know about it.
Other than that, the service has been good (except in a small part of the Outer Banks recently) and the EVO is a kickass phone.

their policy is to call you every 6 months to "help you evaluate your needs" or some shit. They call 3 times if you dont pick up and do not leave messages
I dont pick up a number i dont recognize so Ive never actually talked to them.

my beloved Palm WebOS phone is giving up the ghost (due to way too many hacks on my part) so tonight picked up an EVO 3D off contract as a holdover until whenever a phone comes out that I actually like. and yeah, android still sucks
the next release will be perfect.

I like sense so Ill probably wait for HTC's
