Is it not an open system? I signed up for Grand Central before Google acquired them but I don't see anywhere invites are listed on the Google Voice system. I guess I just don't have any invites?

John - thanks for that link too. I did that about a week ago and it's just a "leave us your name and we'll let you know when we're accepting new users" thing.
