I think I'm going to attempt the VMWare tonight if I get time. I'll let ya know how it goes.

I don't really want to do a partition, so I think dual boot is out, unless I get motivated to buy a case for my extra laptop HD

So..I am hoping by this weekend/early next week to have my app up (minigame) on iTunes. Anyone want to sign up to be a tester?

More or less, but no network connectivity. And it's slow. I think I'm just going to buy a mac at some point. Right now the guy I am working with actually has a mac, so it's not a complete necessity just yet.

Well, the prototypes are done..just doing some polishing up..so now I can go ahead and telly ou what the games are!

Me and a buddy of mine have made some puzzle games that use some graph theory as their backing. The first game involves getting shown a graph, and having to trace all of the edges on it without picking up your finger, using the same edge twice, or backtracking. These are all fairly simple, but can look pretty complex. The next one involved the same principles, except hitting all of the vertices, without visiting any vertex twice...a bit harder. Another puzzle involves getting shown a graph, and having to color all of the vertices of the graph in an optimal way, such that no two vertices that are neighbors (have an edge between them) have the same color. This can get quite tricky, but we are giving you a palette with the minimum number of colors needed to solve each puzzle as a head start.

The final puzzle game we're doing, involve magic graphs. These are graphs that have the ability to have a unique numbering on each vertex so that the sum of each 'line' of a graph is the same no matter which you choose. You'll be given a 'number bank' which are the numbers that the users can pick from. All numbers have to be used, and you can't use a number more than once. I hope this becomes the next sudoku =) But if anything, it's just kind of fun to screw around and do some extra curricular programming.
