But George Carlin is dead at 71

Now I'm REALLY glad I got to see him 3 mo ago when he performed in Roanoke. Some of you may be too young to appreciate what he did, but I think he made a big impact on comedy, if not society.

Yeah, Carlin was a movement all by himself. I wish I had seen him perform in person... he was definitely one of my favorite comedians.

Carlin got WAY too preachy and unfunny in his later years.

Yeah, he was really great and will be missed. I think he spoke for a lot of people, but he obviously pushed peoples' buttons..

loved his material and i thought he was hilarious.

his impact has been made on the world and i'm sure his videos will be played for many years to come.
