Would really like a Used Rebel XT, or XTi. Any Nikon would work as well. I can get a *NEW* Rebel XT with a 18-55mm lens for $478, so that would be the deal to beat if possible.

At the risk of going off topic... I want something a little better mostly for track pics but this should be an all-around improvement. The forty-deez has much better autofocus, larger screen, larger buffer, should take slightly better pics (better off with some money glass for better IQ though), less noise at high ISO (anything over 400 is grainy on the XT) and something that doesnt feel like a cheap plastic toy.
