That's my project bike, in my apartment. It's now the second apartment that particular motorcycle has resided inside.

said girlfriend, hating me. can't you see it in her eyes?
I'm sure that a lot of you out there have photographic evidence of you addiction, and this is the thread to share it, and celebrate it.

Since moving into a place with a garage all my stuff stays there... but my ollege apartments always had tires stacked in the living room, cylinder head(s) on the kitchen table, etc
There was the valve cover on fire too...

This one time I decided to rebuild a motorcycle in the house.. without telling my rommates...
I'm pretty sure they would have removed it if they figured out how I got it in there.
But they didn't...
So they got punished for their ignorance.
During a front end rebuild I thought better of hanging the motorcycle from the water main....
The ceiling joists seems like a better option. Again, my roommates, who came home from work to find a motorcycle suspended where their landury should have been, were less than happy.
I stored a lot of parts in there, too:
But mostly just made a big mess.
I moved into a place with a garage after that... but it got bad there, too.
I mean, a garage is just an excuse to own more stuff. More room, you know?

no photo evidence, but there are always parts in the house.
i think the high point was when RJ was in the same apartment as Jay and i and we had r-comps stacked in the foyer, cylinder head in a vat of simple green on the dining room table, integra interior in the living room corner, more tires on the porch and so many toolboxes/jackstands in the laundry room that i almost couldn't get to the washer/dryer.
lately the best i could do was carry a 1.8t shortblock from my car to my living room and plunk it down on the fireplace hearth until i tore it down a month later. i took it apart on a drain pan in the middle of my living room. our main closet is so packed with car stuff that i've had to hang stuff from every wall to fit the "essentials"
p.s. awesome pic RJ

Yep, thats our apartment now...I've been able to keep my room pretty clean, I only have a service manual, head unit, some tools, radiator, and random bolts here and there
The Daytona and the Challenger are in 11tybillion pieces all over my house, my parents house, and the dealership...I win.

Tires and tools make up a corner of my living room. You can find a used clutch and flywheel in the A/C closet and Car Wax and misc parts scattered through my room. I have been thinking of buy a long block to rebuild in my kitchen.
My "peak", if you will of my E30 addiction. And yes, a coworker and I technically owned them all for a short time:
My ATL e30 team:
But clearly I'm tired of working on them, so that's over! *
Those are the only good pics I have, although I'm sure Jess wishes she had more evidence of misplaced stacks of tires and car parts in our ATL apartment. I can't wait to start the bike addiction, looks fun!
Evidence of my (and G's) dedication to MM!
* I'm only down to one and likely selling it soon!

They're probably still there in some capacity, although I wonder what hurricane Katrina did to them. :dunno:
Andrew's bike-suspended-from-ceiling pic made me jealous, so I did the same while changing fork oil yesterday:

It's not like I use the dining room table for anything.
... and somebody suggested that I use this to put in the bathroom for my toothbrush and stuff.
But now it just sits in the breezeway with spare bike parts. And who needs to store bathroom stuff in a toolbox when you already store tools in a toolbox in the bathroom:

Damn guys. I have a set of wheels and tires in the storage room and the AP racing caliper from Chan in my bedroom. I have some parts from the Buick in my closet as well.
Is there any concern of gasoline vapors when you store a motorcycle inside? It can't be good for indoor air quality.

Not if there's no gas in the bike. And that R80 hasn't had gas in it for quite a long time.
