slow season is upon me at work here so i burned some time this morning on my first attempt to color a car in p-shop. i am awful with colors so typically i just avoid it altogether by only doing pen/ink...but i know if i want to get better i need to get with the times. some parts are pretty sloppy, the original scan was crap and i was playing around alot. don't mind the 30 inch wheels either, that's just how it goes in concept-car-land!

Doesnt look too bad - though the glass on the windshield could use some work. I think a reflection would generally have smoother lines than that.

i hear that. wasn't really sure what to do with it....sometimes reflections have hard edges (buildings) sometimes its fuzzy (clouds)....i just sorta let it go, ha

getting some nerdness out of my system...hoping to create the scene from the first Halo in "the library" where master chief pumps lead into hundreds of flood zombies. he's beat, covered in blood, and ejecting the last of his pistol ammo.

i'm going to try to finish it in color, kind of washed/faded with kind of a spotlight effect on the chief. the background will be the library structure, piles of dead enemies (some smoldering and on fire :twisted: , ala rocket launcher) and the floor littered with shells, casings, and spent weapons. yay/nay?
