Would adjustable levers help your carpal tunnel issue?

not sure who it is with said issue but - one thing most people never do is adjust the rotation of the levers around the clipons/bars. When you rest your finger tips on the levers it should be a straight line from your shoulder to your finger tips. Spinning the levers around the clipons often helps a ton.

(in case it hasn't been done)

Probably... and that's what I'm thinking. The brake is adjustable but the clutch isn't. At the least I can replace the shifter and then make a decision about what to do about levers.

edit: Sounds like Steve may have a good point there. I think a lot of my problem is my clutch wrist is tilted up a little bit when I'm using the clutch (kinda like using a keyboard). Rotating it down a little bit may alleviate the problem.

Looks like Oneida actually has the shifter level a bit cheaper.

I think I'm okay with the bar end since the paint had already been rubbed off by my old garage wall. I just went ahead and ordered the lever since I was paying the $10 in shipping for the shifter. All in all, not bad.

Got the parts Tuesday but didn't have an 8mm hex to take the footpeg and shifter off the rear set. I refused to buy an entire set of hex wrenches I pretty much already had for a single 8mm so it took me four stores to find what I needed. Picked it up today and finally got everything back together. Aside from a few scuffs she's as good as new.

I was out running errands on those days anyway so I probably only went 5 miles (75 cents) outta my way. Add to that the fact that I really wanted a ratchet, not those retarded L-shaped ones, and the price bumped up to $25 for a set. It was a pretty easy choice.

I dumped it last night in the gravel drive way. Something about having the bars turned, stopping, and not being able to touch the ground... I'll work on that Wink

heh. sucks. I dropped my moms bike one time, no damage though. Was backing into a parking spot so I wouldnt be facing downhill when I left. Cut it a little too sharp trying to center it so some toolbag wouldnt whip in the spot not seeing it...heh, sucks picking up a 700lb bike by yourself.
