Pretty pricey.. and I don't really know how safe it would be considering the increased amount of walls available to hit. I'm sure it would be a blast to see some pretty nice Porsches blast around the oval though.

I might actually be interested if I can talk Jess' dad into taking his older Porsche out for this. Then and only then will I show those Porsches how a boxer really does auto-x.

I wish I could do (or at least see) this also. The reason it's so $$$ is because renting RIR, at least the track and infield itself, is $$$ (more than VIR full course, if you can believe that.) We were gonna do something like this in '07 until we found out the price.

I'm guessing it will be a lot of runs. I heard somewhere that it was only for like 60? cars...

I did make this one, and it was one of the greats. We used the entire banked oval and pitlane. From the middle of turn 2, through the back straight and into the middle of turn 3 (at least in a Miata), was flatout. I highly suggest if anyone has anymore events there, to take advantage of it. Speeds of 80mph+ in an autocross!!

Sounds awesome Scott, I checked out some of the pictures and results on the Shenandoah PCA website and it looked like a pretty good time. Lots of GT3s showed up, I probably would have driven myself into a wall just staring at them. How was that special Euroclassics gift?
