Well, they checked it out and such, and apparently it is factory orange peel. I told them I was going to pass on it unless they came down significantly more. I had a good deal going, significantly less than the ebay auctions buy it now price, so feel free to go haggle with them if you're feeling spendy on an iffy car!

It's a Massachusetts car as well, so I am sure the body panels have had their fair share of contact with sand and salt. I think its a wise decision to pass on it.
