that's exactly my reasoning. if i can't break 18 mpg than i damn well better be able to lay rubber going into 2nd from all the power it should be making.
it's faster than the numbers suggest but i want V6 milage from my V6. a 25 year old engine design, bad aero and a fat ass don't help much.

Sorry, the mileage alone on a diesel truck makes it worth it. I must say that I am apalled that a small truck like the X can only get 18mpg, that's a damn shame.
i'd LOVE to have deisel. when i buy a pickup (i will one day, i'm sure) it will definitely have an oiler in it
