Ryan Farrel, not Thayer, had someone rub his bumper on his 2001 Camry. It looked pretty bad. But, my metabo rotary combined with an Edge 2000 orange pad and Optimum compound, followed up with the blue pad and Optimum Polish helped create a much improved look to the bumper in 20 minutes. I could of cut the clear even more to help further remove the scratches, but I prefer not to cut the clearocat that much. Enjoy the pics:

i'm bringing the hatch over... the front has a light layer of black spray paint that i'm sure would come right off with the rotary or some clay.

Either way I can probably help fix some paint issues no problem. Here's a major rule of thumb for scratches...If you can "feel" a scratch with your finger, you cannot repair it through just polishing. Touch-up paint and wetsanding will be needed. At that point you are looking at a minimal of $40 at COST.

Exactly, but there are ways to fix that too.
