Anyone here looking for a nice laptop? I've been doing a lot of writing lately, and really need to get something bigger (ie - better keyboard). I bought this new back in April (during the big sale) - no problems at all since I got it.
Here are the specs:
Intel® Pentium® M Processor 725 (1.60 GHz/400MHz FSB)
12.1-in WXGA LCD
1.25 GB RAM
40 GB Hard Drive
Microsoft® Windows® XP Home
8x CD/DVD burner (DVD+/-RW) with double-layer write capability
Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200 Internal Wireless (802.11 b/g, 54Mbps)
65 WHr 8-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery
Internal Ethernet & 56k Modem
Brenthaven case (won't fit a bigger laptop), that cost me $80 a few years ago (originally for my first iBook).
Configure the same system today (without a case) on the Dell website and it'll run over $1100.
