Took the sentra to the 1/8 mile track tonight
#1
Best two runs where a 9.520 @ 73.434 mph with a 2.292 60', and a 9.501 @ 73.896 mph with a 2.316 60'. It's a little bit slower then I wanted, but not to bad. The track is at around 2,000 feet, so at sea level I'm sure it would be a little bit faster. I was shifting around indicated redline (7500, which is more like 7300 or 7400). Those 1/8 miles times come out to a high 14 1/4 mile.

My mods are an SR20VE into a B13 Sentra with a wai, hotshot gen6 header, stock cat, courtesy midpipe with a magnaflow muffler, jwt ecu, and thermoblock spacers. I want to run an open exhaust next time I go, I think that would really open it up. The goal is to eventually hit 12's in the quarter all motor.

i might as well be the first one to say it....hook up those 60 ft. times and you're set. how does the car grab off the line? also, was this in total street guise or was anything removed?

I ran my azenis up front to try and get a little bit of traction. I didn't think my 2.3 60' was too bad. If I cut a 2.20 I'd be pretty happy. At the beggining of the night I couldnt hook up at all. I had 2.6 and 2.5 60' times. Towards the end I finally hooked up and got some decent launches. I'm sure they could be a little bit better, but I don't drag race all that often.

What tire pressure did you run up front?

Don't let these non drag racers hate on you Mike...2.3 or just under is a great first outting in a fwd car on street tires.

damn right it is. i'd be lucky to get that on my first outing in an AWD car, i'm sure.

All i'm saying is that once you get that 2.3 down a tenth or two you'll be dropping your ET like its hot
