So its looking more and more like i'm going on vacation this summer.
My family usually goes on vacation once a year, but is not this year because of family problems (grandparents
), so earlier in the year I decided to take it upon myself to work out details to go visit a few of my friends outside of the United States. But what did I do? Sat on my ass and let the opportunity pass by. Or so I thought.
My younger brother is going to Germany this year to visit a foreign exchange student that we housed for the past year, and while talking about it my parents suddenly started pushing me to stop being lazy and actually plan out a trip to see my friends by myself. After a lot of nagging I finally called my friends up to set up a visit, and as I type this Im also buying tickets for the flight.
July 27th - August 8th I will be in Japan

I will be staying with two friends from JMU whose parents are stationed there. They will be taking off work so it will pretty much be the three of us hanging out in Japan for a week. They plan on takin me arround to certain touristy areas, and im excited as hell to be going. The one downfall (if you can call it that) is that I have to take off work for a week and a half, but Japan > money, esp when its free of charge to you (except for misc fees).
