What can you not see now? Did the truck have a tach? (I imagine not). Tachs matter a lot more to now as I am goin 5-speed. I have a tach just like that laying aroud somewhere, pulled it out of a Camaro.

no it had one, which soon stopped working after buying that tach. i think it got depressed and died since i wasn't using it anymore
if i had to do it all over, i wouldn't buy the big monster style tach. i'd just get the shift light with the RPM pills. i got caught up in a fad, but now i'm over it, that's why i wanted to move it. but since the stocker stopped wotking, i can't get rid of it.
i think once i'm able to do it, i'm going to get the seperate light with pills and then get 3" speed and tach gauges and make a custom cluster.
