Although that was unsafe, those were some crazy skills. Who was riding?

didn't seem too unsafe... for the first few minutes. 2 of his passes he almost bit it... i bet this guy used to be a normal controlled adult... now look what bikes have done to him!

i dunno, i don't know riding skills and how safe/unsafe they are. from what i can tell most of the time he wasn't going all that fast, that is all i based my reasoning on.

it just seems unsafe doesnt it.

what trips me out is that you put your trust in tires and the road. Those are the most unpredicable parts of the riding equation. You can be an awesome rider, but lets say Cletus's turnip truck was leaking coolant going up the mountain, your screwed- I used to work as a mechanic in Hburg, every other car/truck has a major oil leak that the owner doesn't give a fuck about fixing.
That and when your leaning a bike over onto the rarely used edges of the tire tread.

oh yea, they don't put turns in a road unless theres some immovable object in the way of making a nice straight road- Guardrails, culverts, various natural formations like rocks/ trees, cliffs are there to rip your limbs off if you fuck up a turn.

Kneedragging up 33 and 211 sounds like crazy fun, I just can't justify the risk.

He doesn't look too wild but riding hard through Deal's Gap certainly isn't safe.

wow, this is great coming from an avid rider. This is exactly what tons of riders were doing on 33 W, along with passing cars (us) in the middle of turns.
