Some of the vtec.net boys are going to be interviewing the founder and owner of Spoon and are soliciting questions. From the thread:
We're going to be attending an event where we will be able to talk with Ichishima-san of Spoon. Please post questions you'd like to ask the man himself. :-) I'm told that some Honda of Japan people will be there so we might be able to ask them questions too. If there is anyone in the SF Bay Area who would like to help out, please let me know. The event will be this Sunday. Thanks!
Gilbert

My questions were:
Is Spoon considering a professional race program in the United States (i.e. World Challenge or Grand Am Cup)? If so, what are some of the challenges you believe you will face?
Will Spoon being manufacturing racing parts that are more specific to the rules of North American racing?
While there are many aftermarket options available to those who race Hondas in series like Honda Challenge and Improved Touring, very few of them seem to have the expertise to really work with the average racer. Will Spoon try to extend its technical expertise to club racers in the US?
Have US Honda dealerships been receptive to the idea of selling Spoon parts? Has dealership response met, exceeded, or come below your expectations?
In several interviews you have indicated that the CL7 is a better race platform than either the DC5 or EP3. How much higher are the CL7's handling limites than the DC5/EP3? Will you develop a suite of parts for the CL7 to help bring out its potential?
