Autocational meeting- Jan. 23

Hey all-

We are going to have 2 educational meetings- hour and a half or so in length for the club this semester.

The first will be during the month of January- we are moving inside since its plenty cold out.

Any volunteers, specifically alumni that want to come and discuss/ share views and knowledge on topics?

Date to be announced but we are all ears! Weekday/ weekend date.....either one!

I'm planning on being down both the weekend of the 19th and the 26th. I'd be happy to talk about... Something. Any ideas? Track stuff maybe?

Wooooo! And yes there was a monstrous list that we all brainstormed on here somewhere...

Speaking with Jon tomorrow once we get back to JMU- will decide date then

Don't forget we have two very knowledgeable mentors, Drs. Thomas and Borg. Thomas could talk your head off about racing, auto-x, car control, etc and Borg, if he offers a primer of his auto history class (which is excellent, all should take it), could offer some fascinating background on the US auto industry.

Dr. Thomas would be great. I love discussing auto-x and car control with him. It's always nice to bounce ideas off someone so down-to-earth.

Dr. Thomas as of last week when I spoke with him is on board!
