Evo IX Full Correction- Premier Shine - premiershine9 - 04-11-2012 Herroooo there MM, This SE Evo 9 belongs to one of our own- Steve! aka- RawrImAMonster Intro thread here: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=8839&p=182461&hilit=RawrImAMonster#p182461 This job was completed after over 20 hours went into resurrecting the hammered and beat up paint. Heavy swirling, marring and yards of buffer trails and holograms left by a "detailer" was what I was faced with. The correctional process took 4 steps to complete at around 1 hour to an hour and fifteen per. panel. Sometimes I was 8) but when I finally completed and pulled her out I was like  The car was COVERED in acid rain and heavy water deposits, including the windows which were hammered. Compounding pad + Glass polish X 3 passes per window helped, but still did not remove all. A large improvement was made! I can see out of the windows way better since you polished most of the acid rain etching out. Re: Evo IV Full Correction- Premier Shine - .RJ - 04-11-2012
Re: Evo IV Full Correction- Premier Shine - ScottyB - 04-12-2012 so THAT'S what acid rain damage looks like? crap. i knew leaving a car outside in atlanta would be problematic. i need to live closer to JMU.... awesome turnaround Dan. those final pictures really show off the depth of that paint. Re: Evo IV Full Correction- Premier Shine - Jake - 04-12-2012 Wow. You need to take the E36 under your wing at some point, after I sort out the final mechanical issues and find some new wheels. I think it has similar acid rain etching on the windows. Thanks Scott! Lighting was decent at the end of the day and my Nikon SLR is back up north (brother and I share it) so these are all taken with the gf's point and shoot brick- not a bad camera though Re: Evo IV Full Correction- Premier Shine - premiershine9 - 04-12-2012 Jake Wrote:Wow. I dont know what it is with my cars, but they all get that damn acid rain etching. Can you get that out with a wash Dan before the car show in one of your spots, or what would that have to include so I can get my damn windows clean. DJ- could work on yours Friday night from 8ish on- just need to polish them out- can't guarantee anything as you can see with this Evo- its permanent sometimes... overall though it will most definetely make a big improvement at the very least.
