I searched and could not find any mention on the site that Bob Wade passed away on November 20th. I know the club has a strong relationship to Bob Wade Autoworld and I thought the membership should be aware.

Very sad. I got a call from the General Manager the morning after he died to tell me the news. They had a huge day on Saturday and Bob said he was going to have dinner with his family. Had a massive heart attack sometime during the night and passed away. Was a great guy and did a lot for the Harrisonburg community. I appreciate him giving me an opportunity to work and learn a ton in the automotive field.

Yeah, I saw this, and had hoped one of the officers was at least facebook friends with Bob Wade Autoworld, since it was on the facebook page the day after it happened. I never saw mention of it. I know Rex has talked to Scott Powell and at least gave our condolences. Now, if he has a memorial fund or something like that, maybe we could contribute as a club to that. That kind of thing gets recorded and sent to the family.

Possible fund raiser for the MM Car Show, and im sure that JMU would like a scholarship in his name since he was such a big contributor.
