1) Don't use IE, if you are. I didn't design the site to work that well with it (basically, a lot of little design things are "tweaked"), because IE sucks.
B) Chrome, Safari or Firefox should work.

I use IE and I'm still alive. I get why people hate it but I can't stand chrome for some reason.

Dial up subscriptions pay for our apartment almost exclusively.
Matt, you might try Firefox, it's starting to show it's age compared to Safari and Chrome, but its also not as stripped down and trendy looking. Its my preferred browser. When you boil it down, IE isn't the end of the world. but you're just going to run into a lot of little compatibility issues, and you just won't see things exactly the way a site was intended to be seen, because most designers won't bother busting their ass for a fully cross-browser compatible site when IE is such a bear to work with, and most IE users don't care or know any better.
I was listening in on a customer call the other day and the (very nice sounding) older lady was concerned that her son installing firefox might've caused her connectivity problem. :lol:

I just downloaded Firefox to give it a go. I have had Chrome installed for awhile for when I run into serious compatiabilty issues like when trying to do real work (i.e. make rage comics on memebuilder) but IE seems to be fine for me for most everyday stuff. I don't like learning new technology which is probably why I never switched from IE and why I am tihnking of taking a friends old OG Droid to replace my older, more beat up OG Droid even though I can get a new phone in december. I just don't want to learn another new smart phone.

Its a matter of preference. I tried firefox and don't notice a huge difference in anything other than a really confusing favorites menu.
I like IE
