9/10/04- purchased two Cobra radios. These will be very handy for traveling to and from events, and also once we're there. We will prob need to purchase more in the future, but this is fine for now.

hmm, i think they should. check to see if there are channels within the main channels. those are called privacy or sub channels. we would like to use the subchannel feature to reduce interferance from other convo's and the like. bring 'em to a gathering next time you get a chance and we'll check em out.

my family has 4 of those motorola talk-abouts at home... (NOVA) so hopefully they work and I can probably bring some down.

sounds great. Anyone who has some and is coming to an event, just bring them and see if they work with the ones we bought. We're not going to need more than 2 very often, but they would be nice for certain events.
