Car presentations - KPWSerpiente - 09-10-2004
Chris mentioned something about this at the first meeting and I thought it was a hot idea. The idea being to have people give a little info about their car and stuff. I'm not just down because I love talking about my car but because I like knowing what other people have done and are planning.

i believe we're def. gonna do it, most likely at the beginning of class. it will be on powerpoint and could be for 10-15 minutes including questions. if you make your presentation, just be sure to email it to one of the officers so they can implement it into the powerpoint for that particular meeting.
i don't think we've established any order, so if anyone wants to go first just call it out.

just curious, since I don't come to meetings, but is this just going to be a 10-15 minute brag session with pics and details about the owner's car, or a more useful, less biased, factual approach to a certain model that others want to know more about?

Why not both? I was going to start with the history of DSMs, talk about strengths and weaknesses of the car and then talk about my own. I hope everyone can bring the same info to the table because very few of us drive the same car and I'd like to learn more about other makes and models.

I'd like this to be mainly factual with the history of the car model and any options/yearly changes made to them. if there was a year that was best for the car, that should be mentioned. At the end you can talk about your own piece and what you've done/have planned for it.

factual information about dsm? it takes less than 5 seconds to say they suck... travis is just gonna brag for 14 minutes and 55 seconds about what a sweet highway racecar he has
