Prosport Gauges - danparm - 09-28-2011 any opinions or knowledge of prosport gauges? planning on doing a gauge pod for the impreza in the near future. i don't need full race spec gauges, this car won't be racing, but i do want something that's a reasonable price and will last. Re: Prosport Gauges - JustinG - 09-28-2011 Have em in the hatch, good for the price, im a fan. Unless you want the warning/peak function, id go with their basic gauges, they are cheaper. Re: Prosport Gauges - Sully - 10-04-2011 At least hanz knew which way pistons were suppose to go...stupid boxer motor. You can fit 3 I6's in place of one 4cyl boxer motor. They only look cool when they have giant intercoolers on them. "In 1896, Karl Benz was granted a patent for his design of the first flat engine. It had horizontally opposed pistons, a design in which the corresponding pistons reach top dead centre simultaneously, thus balancing each other with respect to momentum. Flat engines with four or fewer cylinders are most commonly called boxer engines, boxermotor in German, and also are known as horizontally opposed engines."
