WTB: Piloti Ingel - Sully - 09-28-2011 As the title states, I want to buy some Piloti Ingels but have not been able to find them as they are somewhat newly discontinued. Looking to spend like $50 or so on a pair of 9.5's. Was hoping someone may know a site that has lots of old Piloti's that I have not thought of checking. Re: WTB: Piloti Ingel - Kaan - 09-29-2011 i guess as a driving shoe i'd say they were just okay. I really didnt like my Piloti after i had them for a month or two. they were TERRIBLE for gripping pedals if they got wet. I also think they make life harder to "heel toe" because they are narrow. Re: WTB: Piloti Ingel - Evan - 09-29-2011 fwiw, puma kart cats are great driving shoes and are around that price Re: WTB: Piloti Ingel - Sully - 09-29-2011 I don't like puma's that much at all though. They are very very narrow from the looks of em Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk Re: WTB: Piloti Ingel - Jake - 09-29-2011 I had a pair of Pumas that I wore for the longest time as "track shoes" and they were just okay. Too narrow to heel/toe with. I think the Pilotis vary based on the style you get. I have a pair that are wide enough to let me heel/toe the Miata, which is not as easy as you'd think. Re: WTB: Piloti Ingel - Sully - 09-29-2011 I like my Pilotis as far as feel for the driving I do now and don't have a problem with them other than I tinhk they are ugly. I bought them new on ebay for like $30 just to see if I like Piloti's and I do. I really was just looking for a place with this specific model as I do not liek any of the new style's of Piloti's. I like these and the Mulholland II but both have been discontinued. |
