Its been a while but Im finally back in a seat - rezarxt - 09-13-2011 Hey guys, Been a while since Ive posted on here. Some of you may remember me. Freshman year I had a 2000 Mustang GT (the one you could hear from other side of campus) and picked up a 2006 Honda CBR 600rr. Well gone are both of those. Ive been driving around campus in a Neon trying to save money for the last 15 odds month. Well the time finally came for me to make the jump into a new car. I had been eyeing a new 2012 Mustang GT but would have needed a loan. My brothers car came up for sale and I decided to jump on it. Heres the new toy 2005 Pontiac GTO 17,100 miles stock I know shes heavy! lol I have a set of LT's waiting to be installed when I pick it up. It wont be as load as the GT, but I want to hear the 6.0L. My brother had bought it recently and decided he needed a 4WD vehicle. The car was garage kept its entire life and has only a few rock chips. Im making the trip out to Colorado on the 30th to pick it up. Some might question buying a car in CO, but I know the history of it and both the original owner/my brother took extremely good care of it. Figured it make a re-entrance into the club for my senior year. LS motors love spray. :twisted: See ya around town! :thumbup: Re: Its been a while but Im finally back in a seat - ScottyB - 09-13-2011 nice, i always thought GTO's were pretty cool. that is incredibly low mileage and you're getting one of the good years with the displacement bump and brake goodies. i don't think i've ever seen one on the road in that color either. you'll have fun driving that from CO....i bet those things just kill miles. The seats are so comfortable and man do they sound mean even with the stock exhaust. Nice pick up! And low miles to boot - given it was your brother's car and you knew the history, you'd of been crazy not to get it.
