Calling aspiring MM photographers - Jeff - 08-28-2011
I recently got a quote from the guy that did my wedding pictures to do a photo shoot of my Challenger around some of the industrial spots in H-burg. Needless to say.....THAT SHIT AIN'T HAPPENIN. I am looking more for a "buy me dinner and some beer" kinda deal. Anyone in MM got a fancy camera and at least some pretend talent and want to lend it to me?
Need pics moar bettar then this...

I was just thinking maybe the parking garages, some of the other neat spots downtown that have loading docks and things like that.

Also, if you were down to ride up to Woodstock I would really like to get some artsy pictures of the car and the dealership before they tear the 60's front off of it to install our big sexy arch and 30 more feet of showroom. Let me know what you guys think.

All I gotta say is I have done countless tire mountings for MM members for dinner. Someone's got to be able to hook me up for snappin some pictures of a vintage car with cool backdrops. Its a portfolio builder! I will of course share the license to the photos with whoever takes them so they can use them for whatever their purpose might be. I just need to be able to use them for whatever I need them for as well.

Thanks guys. The construction will be starting I would say sometime in the next few weeks. If you make it that would be great. Let me know what dates you are looking at being down. I will take anyone up on any offer just to have moar good picz. So once I get the hood on a trip to Ashburn will be in the works.

Maybe so. I guess I am brave enough to come up in that mess with my old car (seesh...geting nervious just thinking about it) I would imagine the traffic is not as bad on a Sunday.

There are tons of relatively unused parking decks and almost empty industrial parks around this way. Besides cookie cutter neighborhoods, it's what Loudoun County does best. There are also a lot of old historical buildings hidden out of the way west of here that could work too. I'm flexible on the locale up this way, just not looking to drive down to H'burg.
I personally wouldn't do DC, but that's more about it being difficult to find a place with no people and cars than it is about traffic.

Yep I would be more than happy to as well. If you dont make it up to Nova any time soon, I know I will be down at JMU at least 5 or 6 times in fall. Jake- perhaps we could do something before the College autocross?
