2 MucH b00sT 4 t3H bra1n!!!!! - 83Rabbit - 09-09-2004 Im picking up a 92 laser Tsi this weekend from my friend as a project while my corrado is being sold and Im working on getting a scion. If things dont pan out with it anyone want it? lol has just over 100k on it, greddy SS cat back exhaust, apexi turbo timer. Was in PERFECT shape till the timing belt went from a stoplight at 1500 RPM. I figure Ill rip it apart, see what needs to be done, if its cheap ill just throw it back together and fix it, if it needs alot, ill end up sellin her as is. Someone find a buyer for my friggin corrado so I can get this downpayment underway for an impreza or xB! :? - KPWSerpiente - 09-09-2004 I got 100 bucks for it if you decide to get rid of it. -T - Mike - 09-09-2004 Wait.... you sell the Corrado because you want something newer and won't require too much time to repaird... so you get a DSM!? You and Jack are twins! I'm baffled by the irony! - Dragon - 09-09-2004 KPWSerpiente Wrote:I got 100 bucks for it if you decide to get rid of it.I'll see your hundred bucks and raise you a piece of bubble gum. - 83Rabbit - 09-09-2004 MichaelJComputer Wrote:Wait.... you sell the Corrado because you want something newer and won't require too much time to repaird... so you get a DSM!? Im selling the Corrado to get a downpayment on a brand new car (either an impreza or a scion) This will be a project car ![]() If I could Id keep the Corrado and just get a new car for a DD and have the corrado be my project... But the corrado is basically finished, and has too much of my assets tied up into it. Id like to have about 6-7k for a downpayment on a new car (thats half a scion, and financing 6-7k wont be bad at all) Re: 2 MucH b00sT 4 t3H bra1n!!!!! - CaptainHenreh - 09-09-2004 83Rabbit Wrote:Was in PERFECT shape till the timing belt went from a stoplight at 1500 RPM. MmMmmMm! DSM Valve Soup! Recipe: 1 DSM, well-aged, with original timing belt. 1 Driver who doesn't understand routine maintenance. 1 Stoplight. Directions: Add DSM and driver into a medium size road. Mix well. Put in front of stoplight, and quickly add throttle. When car stops running with a metallic crunching noise, remove from road and stir. Best served cold. When you get finished with it, let me know. Maybe an honest-to-god-this-time-see-you-in-florida-MM-2005-Challenge-Car. - Feersty - 09-09-2004 Good stuff.
