2009 Acura TL - Ken - 08-09-2011

So, actually kind of a funny story. When i went to look at the Evo I had to have my mom test drive it on account of i don't know manual yet. Anyway, she winds up loving the thing and decides that she wants something sportier than what she has and wants to try and sell her 09 TL.

She got it new and it barely has 13k on it, it's garage kept and all routine maintenace has been done. She drives 8 miles every day monday to friday and that's pretty much it with the exception of when i take it out every now and then to stretch its legs. I know they say only 3% of cars are in "excellent" condtion, believe me, this is it.

It's the base model, so FWD and no technology package.

I'll add pictures and provide more info in the unlikely scenario someone is interested.

KBB value is $30,900, MM price is $29,500.

Haha, your mom is the shit. She should buy a 328i with a 6speed and the sport package, it'd be the new equivalent to that E30 she loved so much.

And FWIW I've pimped around in this car in person and it's still completely 100% immaculate. I think Jake's dad is due for a new whip....

Re: 2009 Acura TL - Ken - 08-09-2011

haha, I know right. She got into the car, was unsure of what she was doing for all of .5 seconds and before I (and the current owner) knew it we were pushed back into the seats and she was slamming into second and third lol.

She wants a "sporty" car yet at the same time wants to maintain the niceities, which BMW will charge an arm and a leg for and wind up being more than what she's paying now. I've got her intrigued with a Genesis 3.8 Track or grand touring. Tough to beat brembo brakes, bluetooth, heated front seats etc @ 32K.

Mr. Thiewes should totally rock this whip. just sayin'.

Genesis 5.0R

I wish, she's deadset on something smaller than the TL though.

Just because I want to see a mom do a burnout

(Just make sure to wait until they replace the trans with something not from China)

Re: 2009 Acura TL - Jake - 08-09-2011

Ken, your mom sounds awesome. A Genesis could be fun... or a Mustang... or anything else RWD with powAr

And my dad is not buying a beak-faced Acura, sorry. That'd be like taking home one of those girls who makes duck faces in every photo. I just can't do it in good conscience.

LMAO. I like the 328 suggestion. My neighbor just got an 07 328i which lacks a little in the agility department but is an extremely well put together/ well balanced car. Note the jump to a 335 is a large one.
