Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - Ken - 07-26-2011 Hey guys, looking to see if anyone here would be interested in buying my 09' Ralliart. Price - $19,000 for MM As i have mentioned before it is leased so there is a certain amount i need to cover (buyout plus what's left on lease) so no lowballs. She's got 30,200 miles on her currently, routine maintenance has been done and a synthetic Mobile1 oil change has never gone past 5k miles. Just put on new brakes, Hawk HPS pads in the front and Akebono ceramic in the back; new rotors as well. Currently as makeshift short ram intake in there but i can provide, or reinstall the stock airbox if needed. The windows were professionally tinted at 15% and i have never run into any problems with that, they're also guaranteed not to purple or bubble. It has AWD, and shares an engine with the Evo, albeit with a smaller turbo. It's quick and does awesome in the snow (i once towed joey's M3 with it ) I personally love the Twin Clutch transmission, it was great when i was stuck in traffic and brilliant for spirited driving and autox-ing. Right now it has the black Enkei's on it which i haven't included in the price but if you want them i'm sure we can work something out, it will come with the stock rims wrapped in Blizzacks. It's been a great car to me and part of me wants it to stay but i'd like to explore my option of upgrading to an EvoX, The only negatives really are a scratch on the passenger door and a slight ticking noise at idle. I think i've had some of you listen to it, it doesn't affect the car at all and i've had a dealership look at it. They said that it is normal for the car and that Mitsu is aware of it but, "has no fix at this time". Feel free to ask my any questions... ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - Ken - 07-28-2011 Changed price Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - JustinG - 07-29-2011 Ken Wrote:a slight ticking noise at idle. A Mitsu with a ticking noise....thats not normal at all You'd assume they would have fixed the lifter tick from the 4G63 when they created the new motor, guess not. Also, don't do EVOX, for the money do a EVO 8 or 9 MR. Way more of a drivers car than the X. Ive driven a 8 GSR, 9MR, and X GSR, the 9MR was the best of the 3, and the 4G63 has been around for ya know, 20 years. IMO you'll be way happier, and save yourself some money. Now if warranty/comfy DD are what your looking for, I'd do the EVO X or STi, STi being the better value though. Anyway, good luck selling this thing, don't think youll have a problem, spend the $40 to post it on AutoTrader, worked for me
Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - Ken - 07-29-2011 I've thought of that but it will be my DD and the extra lil comfort bits will be appreciated. The interior and features are indentical to what i have now so i don't what to downgrade in that sense. I'm looking at 08 Evo X GSRs, hoping i can find one still under warranty but doubtful. I'm also way to much of an Evo person to consider an STi, an Evo is borderline dream car status for me lol. Thanks though, and if you know someone who may be interested feel free to pass along the info Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - Ken - 09-27-2011 Price Drop - 18K for MM Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - Ken - 10-20-2011 Annnndddd 17K for MM Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - Ken - 11-29-2011 Sold. Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - SlimKlim - 11-29-2011 *sniffle* Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - Jake - 11-29-2011 Good times were had. Especially in the snow. In that parking lot behind the roller-rink. Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - JustinG - 11-29-2011 Jake Wrote:Good times were had. Especially in the snow. Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - Ken - 11-29-2011 lol, well played Justin. Not exactly the best wording by Jake. And I should be picking up a 2011 Evo X beginning of next week if not end of this week... now about me needing to learn manual.... Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - CaptainHenreh - 11-29-2011 Doesn't the UberEvo have a dual clutch also? Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - CaptainHenreh - 11-29-2011 He didn't say what kind he was getting. Hence, "UberEvo" vs "UberLancer". Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - JPolen01 - 11-29-2011 The GSR is an evo though so now I is confused :dunno: Re: Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - JustinG - 11-29-2011 JPolen01 Wrote:The GSR is an evo though so now I is confused :dunno: Lancer < Lancer Evo GSR < Lancer Evo MR GSR = uber Lancer MR = uber EVO Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - Ken - 11-29-2011 lol, and it is a GSR. MR's are actually really rare, although after driving through the cross Bronx i may regret this choice of a manual transmission. Re: Feeler - 2009 Lancer Ralliart FS - SlimKlim - 11-29-2011 Its gonna suck the first few times you're in traffic, but after a while it becomes an instinctual process. I'd be a much weaker fight against a two pedal option now that I'm commuting in traffic, but it'd all depend on the car. Twin clutch Evo? Yes. Auto 3 series? Nope. |
