Subscribe to MM's Google Calendar - Jake - 07-12-2011
Our old /calendar page was pretty basic and hard to deal with/update. I've switched it out for Google Calendar, which is pretty easy to integrate, update and (bonus!) you can subscribe to it so all of the MM events show up on your phone or computer with no effort on your part :thumbup:
To subscribe...
- Log in to your Google account at <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://calendar.google.com">http://calendar.google.com</a><!-- m -->
- Under "Other Calendars" on the left column, click the gray Add link and choose Add a Friend's Calendar.
- Enter madisonmotorsports [at] gmail [dot] com (obviously, as a real email address, no silly brackets).
There you go... should make keeping track of events easier...

If anyone would like a full schedule of good autocrosses, track events, etc that are local to NOVA. Your more than welcome to add my calendar. Fitzpadj is the name (at gmail).

i tried this when i set up the gmail account, hopefully you have more success, I dont think it was kept up after i graduated. Or did you start a whole new shebang? Good work!

I didn't know you had already tried this Justin, I made this suggestion back at the last meeting of the year. Rex and I use our shared calendars for everything so I figured it'd be handy to add.

It's integrated into our website here too (mmsports.org/calendar) and if the officers just put the list of events on it when they make schedules each semester, it's easy-peasy.

I have alot of double dates right now becasue I had already input the summers events on my calender but good work, just gotta figure out how to get phone updates now

This I really like! Good work, i was wondering if there was an easier way to integrate the calendar into the website, maybe link it to our facebook page as well????? assuming people still even go to the facebook page.
