CDC Auto-X 7/9 at JWHS, Winchester - Goodspeed - 07-04-2011

For anyone in the area, theres an auto-x next weekend a the James Wood High School parking lot in Winchester. If you haven't been, Capital Driving Club is pretty much the bees knees of auto-x clubs - laid back, free food, lots of runs, etc.

As an extra incentive, you will bear witness to the fail that is me returning to actually doing something useful with my car.

:insert Peter Griffin laugh at the school picture.:

I'm hoping to have my newest blunder back on the road in time for the August 13th auto-x.

? The chips are free, just the hot dogs and bratwursts cost money, and they raised prices to a whopping $2. Im hoping to hell that I can have my M3 ready for this, otherwise ill be harassing somebody for a co-drive.

If you can't get it ready feel free to co-drive the Talon. I need to find a place that will mount the R-Comps by this weekend.

No like Colonel James Wood, sat in the House of Burgesses, and was the Governor of Virginia, and founded the town of Winchester. I know you d-bags think you are funny, but that's my alma mater, and its irritating. But, the parking lot is huge there, so you all should have a good time.

Crap - was going to do this but family reunion in PA this weekend.

Hey DJ, I'll leave the keys to the Vette. You won't class well but you can have some fun. If it breaks just call Combs Wrecker Service, he'll know where to take it and bill my card on file. Big Grin

Thanks to DJ for allowing me to borrow your helmet. First time to an AX ever... Seemed like fun, maybe I will bring out Evan's SM next time or stop by Steve's and steal his monster. Good to meat David as well. Hey Viper, was Stephanie in the Dk Blue Corolla?

It was good to see you out there, hopefully youll come out to more. Goodspeed had an excellent autocross with what looked like much better throttle and steering control. Nice job!!

PS- My corruption scheme worked on Kyle  (well kinda, I know he already wanted one), let him co-drive my M3 for two runs. Only served to make him chomping at the bit more for an m3.
