(Horrid) Pictures of Dad's E39 M5 - toneloc - 06-07-2011 I know that MM has recently become the biggest group of young BMW obsess-ors on the east coast, especially when it comes to E36's, so I figured that I would show you all pics of my Dads M5 that he picked up about 1 1/2 months ago. This is his second E39 and 3rd BMW, his first E39 being a 98 528i Sport auto which he traded in after nearly 260,000 miles of service. He daily drives this thing everyday in DC traffic to and from work and loves every second of it. I've had the opportunity to take it out and do unnecessary and illegal things with it and I can say that this car is pretty close to perfection, as far as modern cars get. Nice M5, I like em a lot, woulda kept the stock wheels if it were me though Re: (Horrid) Pictures of Dad's E39 M5 - toneloc - 06-08-2011 He has the stock wheels as well, those current wheels came off of his 528 and have summer tires on them whereas the M5 wheels have all-season so he'll put those back on when it gets cold around here. As far as I know, that is the stock interior, with the exception of the UUC short shifter and that DVD/NAV aftermarket head unit. Finding ones that fit is near impossible. I've been looking for lauren's car. I was thinking if we do get her an aftermarket unit I might learn to lay fiberglass and try to make a bezel that doesnt look crappy.
